Get to know Cetus

Cetus Edge and Cetus Central, supported throughout your installation’s lifecycle.

Cetus platform guide · Updated October 2026

Start with the work you need to do

Use Cetus Edge to design and configure networks and to exercise their behaviour and data exchanges. Use Cetus Central to maintain the network context for admitted observations and operational workspaces. Platform services support your organisation’s onboarding, agreed access, installation support and planned updates.

One network at a time

Edge and Central open on Networks. Choose a network to enter its workspace. Views, equipment selection and applications then operate within that network. Return to Networks before changing to another network that your account is permitted to access.

A shared foundation

The Cetus Grid Twin describes equipment, terminals, connections, properties and evidence. A map and a line diagram are different views of the same network, not separate copies with unrelated identities.

Know what is available

This guide describes the current platform and application workspaces. The functions enabled for an organisation depend on its licence, configuration, available evidence and commissioned services. The capability guide explains the distinction between a workspace, an implemented function and field commissioning.
